FAQ
Do I have to have insurance to be seen? You do not! In fact, we have structured our pricing to be affordable for ALL patients. By removing administrative requirements and restrictive barriers associated with insurance companies, our pricing is often less than your co-pays and deductibles! Chiropractic care is affordable and effective!
Can I use my insurance benefits if I have them? Many of our patients use their out-of-network benefits, and receive reimbursement for care directly to their home. This is a simple process, and can be easily completed on your carrier’s portal. Benefits vary greatly between plans, so we encourage you to verify your benefits with your insurance provider ahead of time. In order to keep care affordable and simple for our patients, we do not submit insurance claims and are not be able to verify benefits for you.
Do you require expensive, long-term contracts? No. The doctor will work with you to find a treatment schedule that fits your individual needs.
How much does it cost to get started? New Patient Appointments are only $97! This includes your initial consultation, exam, any necessary X-Rays, AND adjustment with Dr. Amber! Barring any need for additional analysis or more advanced imaging, you will be treated that same day.
Do you take X Rays? Our facility does have affordable X Ray imaging on site. Dr. Davis may feel X Rays, or another advanced imaging, is needed to better assess your condition, and provide the best treatment possible. If you have recent imaging from another facility, we may be able to use that. Necessity will vary from patient to patient and may not be required for treatment.
What should I wear? We recommend you wear comfortable, athletic clothing for your initial exam. If X Rays are needed, we will require metal piercings and clothing with metal to be removed. Please bring clothing with you that does not have metal buttons, zippers, or other artifacts. You may change in the exam room, if needed.
How can Chiropractic help me? You are more than just moving parts on a machine. Your body is an intelligent, dynamic, interconnected system of joints, nerves, bones, and other tissues. A Doctor of Chiropractic is trained to analyze, diagnose, and treat this system, not just cover up the symptoms. With corrective chiropractic adjustments, many of our patients experience great improvements, not only in the condition they initially sought treatment for, but in many other areas of their health, as well.
Will I be adjusted same day? In most cases, yes! In order to provide our patients with the best care possible, Dr. Davis completes a thorough consultation and examination. After reviewing any diagnostic imaging, orthopedic test results, neurological exams, and notes made during your health history consultation, she will provide you with care recommendations. Often times, care is provided on the same day as your initial visit. Considering the depth of the the exam, and potential need for advanced imaging analysis, treatment may be on your second visit. To rush through this process would be a disservice to you.
We pride ourselves in being a clinic that fully involves and empowers you, the patient, in your own health care goals. Dr. Davis will spend time reviewing and explaining her findings, including any imaging taken. Once all of your questions have been answered, you will receive your first adjustment!
What technique does the doctor use? Each patient, and their individual needs, differs from the next. Dr. Davis uses a variety of adjusting techniques to tailor care that is most appropriate for you. During your visit, treatment may include: manual Diversified adjusting, Thompson and Pierce drop table techniques, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Gonstead, Palmer Package, Activator instrument, and Toggle, to name a few.
How often will I need to come? This answer is entirely dependent on your needs as a patient, as well as the severity of your case. Generally, a patient in pain will require a greater frequency of visits during the initial stage of their treatment, versus someone seeking wellness care. Dr. Davis will discuss treatment options with you, and make suggestions based on your condition. As your health improves and evolves, so will your treatment schedule. Chiropractic care is great for helping you get out of pain, however, it truly works best as preventative care. Maintenance, or Wellness Plans, keep your body healthy, so you are better able to PREVENT injury and FUNCTION optimally. Most of our patients choose to follow a Wellness Plan of once per month visits, however, this is entirely optional.
