Step 1: When you arrive, our office manager, Heather, will make sure all necessary intake forms are signed and completed. When the doctor is ready, she will take back to get started.
Step 2: You’ll sit down for a one-on-one consultation, with Dr. Davis, to discuss your health goals and concerns. Feel free to ask questions, and mention any previous injuries, surgeries, or illnesses.
Step 3: Your exam is the most important part! Dr. Davis will perform a comprehensive chiropractic evaluation to uncover any underlying health issues.
She may use specific orthopedic and neurological testing to isolate and analyze your condition.
You may be asked to: Bend forward, sideways, or backward, lay down, and sit up.
**Be sure to wear clothing you are able to move in! Please avoid tight fitting jeans, skirts, and dresses, if possible**
Step 4: Dr. Davis will advise if any additional imaging or testing is needed. Chiropractic X-rays can be performed on site.
If needed, we will ask you to remove an metal from the regions being imaged. This may include, but is not limited to: jewelry, piercings, clothing (metal buttons/zippers, underwire), hair accessories (bobby pins, clips).
We have gowns available, if clothing must be removed.
**You may also bring your own metal-free garments, such as gym shorts and t-shirt.**
Step 5: A Report of Findings will be conducted, outlining the Doctor’s care recommendations. A full review of your case will be performed by Dr. Davis, ensuring that you are a good candidate for chiropractic care.
Step 6: You will receive your first chiropractic adjustment, and initiate a path toward a healthier you!
**Steps 5 and 6 are often conducted on Day 2, allowing Dr. Davis ample time to review all of her notes, the results of your exam findings, analyze all images and reports taken on or off site, and develop a plan of care that is individualized for you needs.
